Wanting to change my current Pixel 3a with a new Android phone with a decent camera, SIM free for £200.
Any suggestions?
So far "Decent Camera" and "£200" (or thereabouts) seem to be mutually exclusive...

The 3a's launch price was £400. Do you think anything that costs 75% of that is going to have brilliant camera hardware?

Shop around for a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, its a bit more than £200 but not by much, and they genuinely take great photos.

As Robsa said you wont get a better bang for your buck than with the Redmi Note 10 Pro, and I’m an iPhone user. Amazing value @ £239.

Pixel devices do well on the camera front, the a versions not so much. I'd try to pick a Pixel 5 up refurbished or 2nd hand.

Cameras and decent image processing cost money, so they tend to be the differentiators between budget and midrange phones.
