Wedge Models - Please help!

Hi all.

My brother owns a SEAC and it's his birthday coming up.

I'd really like to be able to get him a model of his SEAC or another wedge is necessary, but I'm having no luck at all finding one. Feels like i've trawled the entire internet looking.

Anyone have any ideas of where i could find one (i've tried eBay ad nauseum).

Hmmmm tough one. I've never seen a model of any wedge...

Its only the newer models that I've ever seen (currently have a Sagaris on order!!) . I dont think TVR ever licensed anyone to produce models at that time....

Other than getting hold of an empty cornflakes box and making one yourself I dont think you'll have much luck.

Only Wedge model I've ever seen is on ebay, they're on there quite often. Made of pewter.

Thanks guys. Glad it's not just me it's proving difficult for!

I might just go get a door stop from the local pound shop, paint it white and write TVR down the side. Might bare quite a resemblance!

If you search Google Images with "TVR Wedge", you'll find a pic of a model mounted on a wooden plinth. The web site is www.vintagekustom.com/tvrccna/regalia.html, but this page can't be found. However, as it mentions TVRCCNA perhaps they can help. Alternatively, perhaps someone from the other side of the pond can help you track it down.

If you find anything, let us all know as I'm sure others (including me) are interested.

I have a model for sale on pistonheads - plug plug.

Might be a tad large though, the scale is 1:1

Actually, there were the pewter 1/32nd scale models of both the wedge coupe and convertible and they are available. The TVRCCNA does have these. Try contacting our Regalia Chairman at [e-mail]
and asking if there are any left in stock. I have both versions and they are a nice addition to the model collection. Unfortunately, neither depicts the SEAC exactly.

The pewter one is the only one you'll find (and only on ebay - around £20) There was a company a while ago who did a survey on here about what wedge we'd like to see in model form - but they are still yet to produce.
