Here's some pics of my new whip. I know the colour's not for everyone, but I think it shows off the lines pretty good. Only had the car a few days but it already feels like a proper driver's car, with the obligatory pops and bangs of course!

Nice, Hyundai really seem to be on form. I love the little duck tail these have. Does it feel more "hardcore" than the Impreza PPP?

No, the Scooby is totally bonkers! but having said that it has a very similar driver appeal, getting lots of positive comments from people too, some asking what the hell it is!

Quick update - car continues to really impress, absolutely love it. Pics taken after getting it back from the detailers so fully ceramic coated with some badge delete and the rest blacked out, to make it a bit more stealthy biggrin. Covid permitting taking it to the Alps in the spring. Can't wait.

Just a brief update with almost a year of ownership in the bag - have to say the car has been fabulous. Taken it on numerous road trips around France, with another one coming up, and the car has performed beyond expectation. A and B roads in particular are despatched with ease. If I was to level one criticism, the suspension set up even in its softest setting is very hard. I don't mind so much but my passengers do grumble occasionally biggrin

Travelled four-up to the Alps, plus a dog, a bike and ski equipment, and no-one seemed to be too squeezed. Boot space is definitely bigger than the hatch, but then you lose out slightly with the lower roof line. Oh, and I love the colour!

Love it.

They are a very rare sight on the roads.

I don’t think the fastback had many admirers, and didn’t sell particularly well.
I love the fact it’s different. And I like the colour. smile

Nice collection of cars but isn't the maximum speed limit there 40mph? I know its not very pistonheads but it seems a bit pointless to buy all that performance.

France is only 2hrs away, just got back in the wagon from the uk (New Forest} spent more time stuck in traffic than I ever imagined, whilst its a pretty area the roads were a nightmare.

Thanks, its defo a marmite car and colour!

I'm sure you can't place an order on the fastback anymore, spent some time in the uk last week only saw a couple of the blue hatchbacks.

If I wanted an I30N yours is how I’d spec mine. Really like the Fastback plus it’s a BTCC championship winning car now too!
It’s just a tad too big for what I was looking for so went for the I20 instead.

Oooh like a bit of provenance!

Really like the i20 they're fab little cars, they look great in red with the black roof, love the way Hyundai are making cars fun to drive.

Yeah Hyundai are nailing it at the moment.
Along with Toyota they seem to be taking the lead in making some genuinely fun and affordable cars.
