MSN playing silly bugger

For the past two days now MSN messenger has been doing really weird things!

It will send some messages, but about 95%, if not more of my messages are undelivered. It is happening to all contacts but it still lets some messages through so it's not like there's something blocking everything. So I end up trying to send a message about 50 times before it goes through.

I end up with a convo window looking like this...

I emailed MSN technical support and have followed the advice to disable direct connection with contacts and disabled the Messenger scan from Norton but still isn't working.

It did this a few weeks ago too but then went back to normal, been 2 days though now with no sign of improving. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I now have to turn off Norton before i can gain access .

Have you been mentioning bombs, suicide, al-quaida, Bush, Blair or London recently?

This happened a while ago to me, seems to sort itself out eventually but I did find that Windows messenger didn't do it, so I just used that while MSN sorted itself out for 3 days.

No mension of trying to blow anyone up!
Using windows messenger at the moment and thats working fine. Just running the lavasoft as-aware at the moment to see if that clears anything out, already got 131 critical objects eek!!
