BG Premium 245 Diesel Fuel System Cleaner

Has anybody ever used this stuff?

A mate of mine has a Toyota Avensis 2L D4D with about 200k on the clock and apparently his DPF light is on. He was wondering if a dose of this might help cure things.

It's probably for cleaning the fuel system up to the injectors/valves - not for cleaning anything post 'combustion' like a blocked/full DPF.

If the car is not regenerating the DPF then it will need to be chopped out and/or replaced/refreshed.
