I've been toying with getting a sous vides for too many years. I'm now probably going to pick up with Instant Pot Dry Fryer version, which has sous vides functionality so will possibly look to use it. This question is probably too late for Black Friday/Cyber Monday but which vacuum sealers are recommended which can handle liquids in the bag? I seem to remember when I was more serious about a sous vides one of the issues was the consumer units would suck liquid out, which the professional ones were at appropriate costs.

Edit/add - just seen on line the trick about freezing your liquid/wet food upright in the bag before using the vacuum sealer, so I guess this is now more which unit do people recommend without pointing out the vacuum chamber ones are all in the 4 figure range (or close).

How much do you want to spend.....? I can recommend a couple I have at home and work which are <100

You can pick up cheap chamber machines around 500 but they are bulky and still wont do liquids.

As you have already found freezing is the answer. But... oils/fats will start to liquify very, very quickly and you often need to hit the seal button manually as soon as the vacuum forms.

I had a couple from Amazon that went back, but have kept the Aobosi, seems to work fine.

Has a dry or wet setting.
