Montane Prism jacket - anyone own one?

I find Montane sizes to run a bit small: ordered a goretex jacket from them in XXL (I've got a 48 inch chest) and had to send it back as I could barely do the zip up.
I find Mountain Equipment and Rab much more true to size.
Montane do make good quality kit though so if it fits you'll be happy.

I've just bought an Icarus jacket (new, but old stock). Mine is an XL, I am tall and skinny and it is a perfect fit for me. All Montane gear runs slim. My Alpine Pro shell from them is a slim fit, but has always been faultless.
I am really pleased with my Icarus, it was a day to day replacement for a Rab microlight Alpine, as I don't think down is suitable for an every day coat. I find it immensely comfortable and for the size, very warm.
I expect the Prism will be just the same!

I've had the Mk1 Prism for years.
It's by a country mile the most versatile jacket I've ever had - at any money.
As for it lasting 20 years, well, that depends entirely on what you use it for. No real reason why it shouldn't but periodically you'll have to re-proof it, and re-activate the DWR.

Had mine for years, and got the missus one too.
I got it for camping, cycle camping, and general weekend walks with the family. As it folds up so small so good camping coat (and an emergency pillow!). It also dries quickly if you do get it wet as I found out when I got caught out loading the car after camping once. Really versatile though, one of my most used jackets.
If you are active in it, it's really good. Standing about watching football, I tend to layer in a Tog24 down gilet and then I'm really warm.

Just to say, I only go onto 'Pistonheads' to read about cars; but (aside from fell-walking) will also stand in cold, windy, upland and forestry locations simply to watch cars.

Which Montane jacket do you have?
