My T350's alarm is extremely sensitve. A car parking next to it, or people looking at it sets it off. I've just driven back through France and at every cafe we stopped at it went off and I'd go out to find a group of guilty looking frenchmen shaking their heads and explaining they never touched it. Quite funny actually. It also went off twice last night parked outside.

So, my questions:

1. is it possible to adjust the sensitivity?

2. is it possible to lock the car without turning on the alarm?

3. Sometimes the alarm enables but the doors dont lock, whats up with that?

4. most of the time when I lock the car I get two long flashes on the indicators, but sometimes those are followed by one quick flash, what does this mean?

TIA

Mine did this, just had to walk around it and it'd go off although it never went off if it was left alone.

IIRC it's a pain as it's hidden behind the dash and I think that has to be removed, or lifted, to gain access. Dealer did mine while fixing other problems.

I couldn't find a way of locking the car with the alarm disabled.

No idea on your other questions, sorry.

The microwave sensor is under the centre console and needs adjusting for less sensitivity. Easy enough to do once you've lifted the console. The alarm sensor unit was just in front of the handbrake/behind theashtray in mine. No false alarms since adjusting it myself.

There is not much more to say, get under the centre console thingy by the handbrake - you'll probably have to lift it a fair bit to get at the control unit. It is a little black box with a small screw on it - turn the screw one way or the other, stand back, lock car and test it.

Tip - take the ashtray out - there might be a screw behind it. You might even be able to feel the small control unit through the ash tray hole - I seriously doubt you'll be able to adjust from there though.

Mine never gets locked at home either. It lives in an alarmed garage which is attached to the house though, and we have electic gates. No deterrents to determined thieves, but if they get that far then they won't mind smashing the window to get in the car anyway. Plus it's immobilised so you'd need the keys to bypass that anyway.
