This is a strange one. This gentleman set off on a charity bike ride four years ago and never came back. Now two men have been arrested after his body was found on farmland. It’s an odd case, though the most likely explanation is that he was struck and killed by a car and the driver and passenger decided to conceal the body?

He was last seen outside the hotel at 11:30pm so unlikely to have been on his bike.

Or, one could argue, was on his bike in the dark making him more likely to be hit and easier to conceal due to lack of passing motorists.

There’s a film called Calibre about a hunting accident in Scotland which is what piqued my interest about this case. On a more serious note it’s obviously very sad for the family, I hope they can get some closure now there’s a body.
