Would anyone have any knowledge on the above GT3? Collecting it on Saturday and it has full PPF, would be great to find out where it was applied and when. The Porsche Centre won't / can't find out.

Hope there's no other bad news about it, please dm me if there is! Warranty anyway with Porsche of course.

Not yet...... 14k miles and on original engine. It has three more years on that warranty so I am not concerned about the engine, be nice if it did let go. (Had a 991.2 GT3 but had to sell it earlier this year, this is all I can afford now!)

How do you know it is on the original engine? Thought mine was, until I checked what was stamped on the engine…..

Only from what the Porsche centre are telling me, though I did also check with another Porsche dealer.

Porsche wouldn’t tell me when I quoted the chassis number to them! I had to get the under tray off and see what was stamped on engine. None of the stickers on the car were updated (under boot, door opening etc)…. From what I tracked back, engine went at c.5k miles (Nov 2014 car, F engine)

Interesting, maybe I’ll do the same and have a look.

I did read most of the other thread around this subject but it was slightly confusing.

V5C has engine number so if Porsche replacement it “should” show correct number

Didn’t on mine. V5 corresponded to engine number quoted on stickers, not stamped on engine… I only found out when I got an independent to do an interim oil change, and the oil filter was different. Later G series engines have modified oil pump and different oil filter….
