E90 LCI bi-xenon right side not turning on

[M157]

This evening my right hand side light has stopped turning on when the car is unlocked but will come on when the engine is started. find it quite odd, any ideas as to why this has happened?

Could it have some kind of parking function enabled? Usually connected with indicating right or left

Your battery is low and the extra oomph from the engine is making the difference?
