I around 6 weeks ago submitted my annual tax return , due to an employer change I was no longer salary sacrifice and the calculation of tax owed to myself was several thousand pounds as i`m claiming the difference as a higher rate tax payer from my pension contributions. It shows up as the sum due on line when I log in to HMRC but when would I expect to see this credited to my account as the sort code etc was provided on the tax return ?

Good luck we're still waiting on my 2019/20 refund, despite it all being agreed by HMRC

I think I waited 4 weeks or so last year.

I’d be telling them to swivel on taking any more tax while they still owed agreed funds.
