I was driving my Chimaera today in heavy rain for the first time in some time (got new tyres so feeling a bit braver) and it came back to me how rubbish the wipers are. Can anyone point me in the direction of an upgrade?

Rain ex or equivalent is your best bet.
Use on inside and it resists steaming up side windows too wink

Thanks Alun. It's actually the clunky prehistoric action that I'd like to change.

I quite like the clunk and squeak of the wipers, it reminds me of my mums triumph herald when i was a lad

A recent thread that may help, best upgrade I did to the car was to fit an upgraded motor but it wasn't cheap.
Maybe look at a refurbed unit from the chap mentioned below.

Hi Rob.
Adrian@ and has a Facebook page where he does business these days ( semi retired) I think and comes highly recommended. Might be worth contacting him as he’s a very friendly helpful old school Tvr man who used to concentrate on the older cars I believe so knows his stuff.
He made me a clutch slave pipe in a hurry once as he was the only one who had fittings etc that day. Made up and flared the pipe for me on the spot. Great guy I remember.
