Hi,

Seems as there's a few posts the last few days on Méganes on this forum I thought I would post some pictures of my Mégane 275 Cup-S which I recently bought from Alex at Performance Only.

All credit must go to the previous owner Greg that bought and built it.

Modifications:
Recaro Pole Positions
RSTuning Sports Cat
Uprated Intercooler
Remapped By RSTuning To 305bhp & 355ft-lbs
Cooksport Lowering Springs
AST Camber Adjustable Top Mounts
Ferodo DS1.11 Front Brake Pads
Ferodo DS2500 Rear Brake Pads
Braided Brake Lines
Speedline Turini Wheels
4 x Toyo R888R Tyres
Half Leather Recaro Pole Position Bucket Seats
KTEC Seat Bases
Recaro Adjustable Side Mounts
Genuine Trophy R Rear Bar and Carpet

I'm still getting use to it. It's bloody quick! I previously had a Clio 197 and they're completely different. I would say the Mégane cruises better but the LSD takes some getting use to, but it's a lovely example and has some nice parts fitted.

Looks fantastic and perfect spec, I sold my LY R26 last year and regret it so on the look out for a decent mk3 shortly, done many trackdays/nurburgring and it was perfect. Lsd can be a bit twitchy on our roads i do agree

Lovely with some nice mods. I’m a big fan of the mk3 Megane RS. Recently sold my Sport Yellow 250 Cup. Very capable cars. For the money I think it’s difficult to find a car as capable on track that can also do daily duties well but also be fairly rare/ special.

The Megane very completely different to the Clio. Thinks it because they have torque wink

Joking aside, first thing that struck me driving my Megane 275 home was how it merrily pulled a high gear up a hill. First turbo petrol engine I'd ever driven. I was used to having to drop a cog or two.

Much more serious piece of kit than a Clio.

Cool car. More of a mk2 fan myself but that looks smart.

I’ve never seen a Megane on Speedline Turinis, they look awesome. Very tasty other mods too, that’ll be great fun on track.

The Trophy R came with them standard fit (albeit often painted red).

One of my favourite alloy designs. If I wanted 19" wheels that's what I'd get.

That first pic is great, a handsome and muscular shape - sits just right.
