Weakest link returns - why is everything Celebs?!

Just seen an advert for the Weakest Link returning, and it seems shows have even given up calling out the Celebrity Specials......this was just called the Weakest Link, but of course it's featuring the usual Z list celebs!

Can we not do any TV these days without having to wheel out these same people most of us have barely heard of?

'Celebs' are more expensive to use than General Public, but can add some value, which is debatable. Got to fill the space between Ads with something !!

I've worked on quite a few low-to-mid-budget TV shows, and the ironic thing is that the talent always sit around whinging about miserable internet car forum users.

If you have worked on low-to-middle budget TV shows I doubt you have met any talent - just wannabees whose only interest in cars is getting paid to flounce around in Cinch adverts!
