Personal loan is cheapest

Used car finance on mainstream will be anything from 6.9% to 10%+ depending on dealer

You may find some "private" providers offering 4.9%

Sainsbury are offering 2.8% for Nectar card holders for loans over £7500

My MBNA credit card is offering 0% for 24 months for a 4% surcharge. I don't think you could find a cheaper way to borrow money, other than a mortgage.

Lloyds/Halifax do Car Finance through their online banking. Rates as low as 3.8% for PCP or HP.
