just wanted to change my BMW X3 done 60000 miles front discs and pads and i have different makes with a huge price difference.
which one you from your experience would you recommend.

Brembo 98 per disc. and 58 for a set of front disc pads
Bosch 89 per disc and 48 for a set of front disc pad
Pagid. 106 per disc and 59 for a set of front disc pad
brakefit 45 per disc. and 40 for a set of front disc pad

which one would you have chosen for an BMW X3 and the reason for choosing.
after how much mileage will the discs need to be changed, what to look for in a disc before changing it
Thanks

i would say any of the top three and avoid the last one.
Disks should be replaced if they are worn down to a certain thickness, are warped or cracked.

There's no massive price difference between the 3 brands of equivalent quality - only when you compare it to the brand-of-unknown-quality (and which the supplier is probably making a bigger profit on - so there's even less spent on the product itself).

But you've also got to watch out that you're not buying the cheap 'aftermarket quality' Brembos rather than the 'OE quality' Brembos (which is much harder to work out).
