Work email on Outlook to Mac Mail

The email system at work used to work brilliantly on Apple Mac Mail.

Since a changeover it only now seems to work on MS Outlook - which is annoying.

Is there a workaround?

Below the email address in preferences it says "Microsoft Sync Technology"

Every so often we have to sign into the email system from Outlook and the system sends a text as security.
