My first Aston Martin!

After a string of Porsches, I pick up my first Aston Martin next week. It’s to run alongside a manual gt3 so should be a nice pair

A silver 2020 vantage roadster. A few things to do, getting black badges and painting the callipers black, and I want to try and source some bonnet louvres.

I think the vantage roadster is the "prettiest" in the current aston range in terms of clean lines and proportions. - with the vaned grill that is...

It'll be interesting to see how AM evolve the vantage over time.

but black is a bit worse I think.
Yellow calipers however good look great.

I’d keep the red calipers too, or go yellow. Get carbon the fiber wings, they look great.

Interesting about the red callipers, I’ll keep them then and see what I think about them over time. It has red stitching inside so they kinda match.

I’m off to have another look at it today, black enamel badges and the Louvres too.

Nice 90. Aston’s nice too. Edited to add, the colour looks fab and brings out the curves.

I agree, the coloured callipers are a bit ‘much’, but it’s a ‘sports car thing’. Trouble is, I don’t remember if the manufacturers copied the Vauxhall Corsa boy racers, or vice-versa.

Thank you about the 90, usually I turn up in the Porsche to test drive the astons and am always a little disappointed. However today I though I would take possibly the worst car still made in the modern age to give the Aston a chance of shining. It worked

Lovely, it really is growing on me as time passes (especially in that colour) which is a wide opinion of the car, this has always been a very good sign for a cars future desirability, E60 anyone?

picked up our Vanquish SV only 2 weeks ago (1st Aston for us to) just been doing car duties to get us home since then, today is our first venture out in the winter sun with the roof down so feels like its only just landed..

Particularly like the rear end on your car, something about them screams aircraft to me.

GT3 for track days sounds like a good partner

Well done! I`d go with black badges and calipers too, seem to be in the minority, maybe that`s a good thing...

So I saw the car again this morning, black badges will be put on, and the wheels will be diamond turned so the main spokes are silver. Should brake up the all black look. I’ll live with the red callipers for the first couple of months just in case I end up liking them.
