Recommended a box set/series

Quite of the dear wife will fall asleep watching TV in the evening which is a cue for me to watch 'my stuff'. So far I've done Boardwalk Empire, Das Boot, Deutschland 83, 86, 89, Narcos and no doubt some I've forgotten.

Anyway, I have Sky Q, Amazon Prime, Netflix and Disney + at my disposal.

Anything historical, alternative history, thriller, docudrama but not sci-fi or fantasy.

My 'go to' recommenation is Gomorrah if you haven't seen it.

Series 1-4 are on Sky with the fifth starting at some stage soon.

Naples drug gangs to put it quite basically, but that would do it an injustice as it can be quite Shakespearian, also brutal, tense and beautifully shot.

I tend to need a stiff drink after each episode.

Started Son's of Anarchy, don't know why I stopped. Might have to try again. Did the first series of The Man in the High Castle. Apparently it went down hill from there? And Brittania. Did the first series, not done any more.

Eta: Wife and I are currently halfway through series 4 of The Handmaid's Tale which is fantastic.
