I’ll never watch it again. Flip flop rules, pandering to dirty driving it’s just too much. I was ready for it to happen on track but manipulation like that is so blatant.

Never again. One less fan, one less viewer. Obviously they won’t be fussed but I can’t watch an unfair sport. It’s not sporting!!!

Oh grow up!
If you’ve watched it before you know it’s been stage managed for years and more so under Liberty than ever before.

There are no winners today.

We used to see some proper shenanigans under Balestre, but the authorities have somehow blown that into the weeds this season.

Jenson noted it as the best season ever. Only if you prefer Eastenders to motor racing.

Very poor.

I'm a Lewis fan but tbh I'm not surprised. Initially I was annoyed, but at the end of the day it's a show and I'm not gonna let it upset me. They've done this for the show.

I'll continue to follow F1 but I won't be spending another penny on watching it.

This isn't an airport, no need to announce your departure.

I think Charlie would have done the same thing.

No one wanted it to finish under the safety car.

If the role were reversed, would you still be annoyed?

You either let all cars unlap themselves or none

You can't pick specific cars

39.12 If the clerk of the course considers it safe to do so, and the message "LAPPED CARS MAY NOW OVERTAKE" has been sent to all teams via the official messaging system, any cars that have been lapped by the leader will be required to pass the cars on the lead lap and the safety car.”

Stop being so pathetic.

You may have been too busy being pacified by whatever hero of yours is winning but they have been doing this for decades, F1 isn't a sport, it's engineering-based entertainment and they have regularly bent the rules to get the Spanish/Italian/German/British tv audiences interested again.

Yeah, sure. Here Verstappen has overtaken Hamilton to win the title, there Glock let Hamilton pass so that he could win the title. It’s just TV entertainment, no need to make a drama out of it wink

If you're going to quote rules quote them in full. The next line says:

"This will only apply to cars that were lapped at the time they crossed the Line at the end of the
lap during which they crossed the first Safety Car line for the second time after the safety car
was deployed."

I've no idea which cars that applies to in this race but it certainly shows that it's not all or nothing in terms of lapped cars.

It was fabulous entertainment. Worth every penny this season. I honestly think Some fans won’t be happy unless Hamilton has the season rapped up by the mid point

You need to watch the race again and how Glock "let him through".

As I recall it was very wet and Glock had been having issues keeping it on the track for a number of laps.

It was racing. There was no race director telling Glock to slow down a bit or changing the rules on the fly....
