Which gaming chair
Discussion
Hi all, just after a bit of advice regarding gaming chair options for son's Christmas present. He has a PS5 so I wanted to know which of the X rocker chairs works best with this console. I have seen ones that say 2.1 and 4.1 (which I gather is to do with the number of speakers) but is there one that is better than the others as there seems to be quite a few different ones. Any advice gratefully received, cheers in advance

I've no input as no real experience of the rocker chairs, but man maths dictates than more speakers = good.
Surprised nobody has come along to disgrace you for looking at a gaming chair and not getting him an Eames!
There's an idea Surprised nobody has come along to disgrace you for looking at a gaming chair and not getting him an Eames!

Eames chair with a couple of bose speakers lashed to the back......
But seriously, I have absolutely no experience with gaming stuff but just don't want to make the mistake of buying something that doesn't work with the PS5 he's got (wouldn't be great on Christmas morn
). I've seen some that say PS3 or 4 which obviously were before the 5 came along. Are they all still PS5 compatable. Cheers for any input of use, otherwise, it might be back to the Eames idea
Also, man maths doesn't work if those 'more speakers' are shyte quality. ( less good speakers = better)

We had the option of connecting the chair to the PS4 but we decided in the end to connect it direct through the TV - "just in case". Glad we did as he now has an Xbox and a PS5 which replaced the PS4. Not sure if all gaming chairs are the same, but the X-rocker one has been excellent & easy to set up etc.
I'm pretty sure there was a little box which plugs into a port on the back of the TV and is just tucked up somewhere behind it. Took about 15 minutes to get it all up and running.
This is the one he has (he's 14 so not tiny).
