Right, a pub conversation has sparked this query.
It was a BBC production from the late 80s. About a schoolboy who bet he could be worth a million inside a week/month.
He invented a company called the October House Partnership and gained credibilty by getting one car dealer to take him for a test drive, which ended up at another, more exclusive dealer where he blagged another test drive and sent his 'driver' back to the office. He then repeated this untill he was in a Rolls Royce, and went to a meeting.
Any ideas?
