Any ideas why, and where you can buy this in the UK?

It is a problem, I tried Cathedral City Vintage as an alternative, good flavour and no 'eggy' smell or taste either may be worth it until supplies resume.
It seems the norm these days stuff you've taken for granted no longer available

It is the best cheddar. Stock has been flaky for years
