Almost unbelievably, surfing SKY and what comes up just now on "Thats XMAS TV" ch 187, The Benny Hill Show!

Sort of incredible that this was prime time TV stuff, it's a bit naughty in places, and despite being archaic in it's PC credentials, we just watched one and there were quite a few decent "gags" in it.

A proper blast from the past seeing it on TV after all this time. I think I've not seen an episode for about 30 odd years.

BTW it has a warning saying reflects it's time and may well offend!

Benny Hill was absolutely brilliant - in his day.
Watched a bit of the repeats a few days ago - looked like they were heavily edited and just certain "types" of sketch included. The humour however has lapsed a little.
