Plug-in Countryman Cooper S E

Hi guys, my wife wants a plug in hybrid, ( I know I know ) and we think the most suitable candidate for her needs ( she has a horse lifestyle and all the baggage that goes with it! ) is a Countryman Cooper S E. Budget is about 25k plus the sale / trade-in of her Nissan Pathfinder ( 5k? , no need to tow anything anymore ) has anyone here had any personal experience of these or pitfalls?
