Rover Gauge 'low fuel pressure' ?

Rover Gauge - I've had Rover Gauge report 'low fuel pressure' (In Show Fault Codes)
Where does Rover gauge get it fuel pressure data from to be able to report this. ?
I can't find anything on google regarding this.
Symptoms I am experiencing is very occasionally, at junctions mostly always at low revs, is total lack of throttle response with engine just barely limping along. Eventually after a few seconds full throttle response returns
