Is this Aston Martin driver letting us all down?

Have I read this correctly, in that TVP Roads Policing is some form of official Police twitter feed?
If so I really don't agree with them using sarcasm in any post about an offender, whatever the offence.
I fail to see the relevance of the value of the car to the amount of the fine. If anything it just belittles their own argument as I'm sure she can afford to pay the £300 without any big deal. Seems to me they actually making the wrong point here somewhat.
Perhaps James needs a little more training before he graduates from his trainee reporter position.

Nothing to do with it being and Aston Martin and more the case I see so many people, men and women driving modern cars yet still prefer to hold a phone to their ear.
If they can't be bothered to connect the phone to the car and use the functions legally then I'm afraid they get what they ask for, they can hardly claim they didn't know it was illegal.

A few observations.
- Yes, the DB11 has Bluetooth phone connectivity as standard.
- Sadly, knowledge of Bluetooth connectivity (and DB11 features in general) is not standard equipment in all DB11 drivers
- Irrespective of (1) and (2) above, some drivers are just dicks.
- The police are trying to crack down on the total f
king morons who insist on using a non-hands-free phone while driving. More power to their blue serge elbows. - Publicising that an expensive car got pulled over may help the message go viral and maybe educate the public a little - do you think the same number of people would be aware of this had she been driving a 4 year old Corsa?
- Did I mention that some drivers are just dicks? Even if they don't have one.
- Is she letting us down? No, total dicks drive all makes and models.
- She did, however let herself down and I find myself hoping she already has 6 points on her licence so there will be a lot of taxis and very expensive insurance in her future.

I suspect she was picking it up to look at messages/emails or something, still most certainly not ok, potentially more disrupting than actually using to call someone!

Touch screen scrolling through messages, music, etc., that is still perfectly legal.
Might be helpful if you are left handed though.

I complained to the ASA over a car advert because it implied you could use social media whilst driving.Might be helpful if you are left handed though.

The advert was banned. But not for the social media, but for 'gender stereotyping' because it showed a man driving and a woman in the kitchen
