Card payments over the phone

Hi All,

Currently accept card payments over the phone occasionally (using Square at the moment).

It's a pretty rare requirement and only really for customers without credit accounts/paying pro forma but they request to use a credit card (usually to get some form of terms until we're happy to extend terms I guess).

Been having some issues with access to Square though. We have team set up on it (we have to pay for that) and card it was collected from expired so we lost access but been a real pest to get activated again as needs main account holder to log in and do it, but he doesn't know his details etc etc. So been round in circles a little.

Led me to look at alternatives. All see basically the same price (Zettle, SumUp) but looking for recommendations before I go and sign up to one of them.

Don't need a terminal really, currently just a portal on square and need to be able to give the sales team access to it.

Not sure it helps but if you have Shopify webshop you can create orders and take Credit Card payments by phone.
Not used it but saw it when I was creating a order in Shopify that we had taken through Etsy
