I reckon any of these would go down well with Mrs BC.

Reply from Mrs Puggit when I sent her the first one: “…..And receive divorce papers on Boxing Day”

She is a staunch feminist hehe

I suspect she'll tell you to use the Hoover on yourself, as you'll no be getting anything from her for a while!

Not so much sexist, but my mrs.can still get animated in a bad way about the Bogeyman Egg Seperator I got her for Christmas about a decade ago. redface

It was never used as far as I know.

A few years ago I bought Mrs. Broken Skunk a packet of Marks & Sparks Carrot cake mix for Christmas. Not as her only christmas present I hasten to add.
She thoroughly dislikes carrot cake, but it is my favourite!

My dad genuinely bought my mother a frying pan for Christmas.

They divorced two years later but that was more to do with him shagging one of his students than the quality of my Mums fried egg sandwiches.

My birthday presents during the first lockdown were a frying pan and a dustpan and brush... I wasn't impressed TBH. Her excuse was that most of the shops were shut.

I bought a Makita battery vacuum just before Mrs Bill's birthday one year. I managed two days of frost before I admitted it wasn't her actual present. biggrin

Then I gave her a sea kayaking guide. hehe

Do you mean a hunky young man who could take her out for romantic dates on secret Dorset beaches?

I always do this as a bit of a joke but it’s got to the point that she now asks for them each year.

Started with an Ironing board cover many years ago but tends to just be Tea towels now.

Who says the romance is dead…..
