Recaro Tian Elite Car Seat - adjustment

Does anyone have a Recaro Tian Elite Car Seat?

We are on our second having had the first replaced, as we cannot get the ISOFIX adjustment rails to move at all.
According to the manual all you do is press the button and they should move in and out, which is how it works in their guide video - https://youtu.be/aoYYNbN5SG8

For us, no matter how hard you push the buttons (either together or individually), we cannot get them to move.

Just looking to see if it is us, if there is a nack to it or the car seat is just poor?
