If the Queen could take Boris with her when she steps down, that would be much appreciated. His unsuitability to lead anything more important than a small dog became clearly apparent to me when he spoke publicly about Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe. But since then he hasn't said or done a single intelligent thing.

That letter to retailers is dated 17th - two days ago. Sage / Cobra were meeting over the weekend, and we have no televised press conference from the Government this evening.

agreed, this seems like the most likely thing. They've had people standing outside stations, and in supermarkets with leaflets to get people boosted, ontop of ads at bus stops etc..
