To me news should be about things that are happening and are current.

Watched newsnight a couple of days ago, one was about Covid, one about some actress who 60 years after staring in a film has made another and Rory Bremner reading some thing.

Is that news?

I seem to recall Newsnoght was a good news program.

We don’t get news anymore we just get the BBC and Guardians opinion on a few carefully selected stories.

Usually one on climate change with a little bit of diversity and inclusion for good measure. Any news item that might question these important mantras is usually omitted.

It’s been a long running joke in our household that it would be more newsworthy if they told us what month isn’t pride.

Do you only look at the BBC and The Guardian?

I rarely watch it these days. Covid was the final nail in my news watching coffin.

I still read the telegraph, DM and flick through the Guardian to see what the Chinese intelligence is up to.
