So i recentry got a e92 bmw 330d m sport.
I have been looking at tunning it and after some research and speaking to a few people i have come up to the following:
1.take the dpf out and install a downpipe
2.blank egr
3.blank engine flaps
4.delete dpf
5.remap
Is that the first course of action and the power increase that i jave been quoted is between 310-315bhp and 620Nm torque.are these realistic gains?
Also i wanted to ask if an air induction kit will help the bhp at all if i install one?
I am looking for the max torque even if it mean a few less bhp.i would lime that "stick to the seat" feeling when i press the throttle 🙃
Your replies will be much appreciated

My advice:
No. 5
1. It’ll smell bad and is illegal and unnecessary
2. Regens won’t happen with no egr and car will lose power/torque without egr unless mapped to suit
3. No need to blank they don’t break. They leak. You can change the manifold to fix this. If you remove them regens won’t work properly and you will lose low down power/torque.
4. See 1.
I’m guessing you have an M57. N57 advice is basically the same apart from the egr will potentially self destruct but that is a small risk in comparison to the risk of main bearing and timing chain failure.
Advice based on owning 2 E46 330ds, 1 335d and being a qualified BMW Technician (no longer working on cars, apart from my own).

6. Scrap car or return to standard when MOT man tells you your car is illegal & will never pass an MOT like that. I have been looking at tunning it and after some research and speaking to a few people i have come up to the following:

Wow.there are a couple of people in here that have clearlt not gone past puberty in the brain!as for the rest thank you for the adult conversation and advice.
I came in here to ask ideas to make the car abit faster when it accelerates.i don't want to race amd i don't want to have a loud exhaust.i am not for any of that at all.simce i jave bought the car, i have chamged the engine oil and oil filter, i have changed the gearbox oil and the fuel filter.the car is very clean with no leaks anywhere whatsoever.
So i thougjt once it is refreshed i could get some advice on how to get that feeling that your get stuck atvthe back of the seat when you step on the throttle and make the car more responsive in general.that is all.

I'm sure there are lots of forums which might give you that info. I fear this is not one of them. Perhaps, though, before you call people immature, you could learn to spell better than a 7 year old.I came in here to ask ideas to make the car abit faster when it accelerates.i don't want to race amd i don't want to have a loud exhaust.i am not for any of that at all.simce i jave bought the car, i have chamged the engine oil and oil filter, i have changed the gearbox oil and the fuel filter.the car is very clean with no leaks anywhere whatsoever.

Probably best to just sell the car and buy something quicker like a 35i/35dPeriDieselPower said:

There is some scope, especially with certain models of car, for buying the cheaper model and then remapping to gain the 'missing' power, especially if you are will to accept a reduced life expectancy and or increased risk.
It is also possible that removing some items legally required to sell the car increase it power, and that for some cars with specific know issues with, for instance, swirl flaps which self detach, to pre-emptively remove them.
However, generally, unless you plan to spend big money, you are unlikely to get significant power increases.
And quite a few of the 'cheap fixes' are likely to make the are illegal and or immoral to use on the roads.
By which point the cheapest option to a bit more power, is to sell the car and buy the next spec level up!
