Wheel refurbishment in the Midlands?
Discussion
Hi,
I'm in Northampton and wondered if anyone could recommend a wheel refurbishment service in the area or Midlands at large. I did take previous car wheels to city powder coaters in Birmingham however the lacquer came off and the wheels looked poor within two to three years. I might try myself as I've seen some tools available on amazon however not very confident with paintwork on a wheel shaped object.

Chris is well worth speaking to. Usually leaves you with a loan set of wheels while it's all going on. He comes to you.

I used https://www.wheelclinic.co.uk/ and was really pleased with the service. Lady in charge is Roxy, and she knows her stuff.
Had a recolour done on the RS summer wheels. Sealed them properly and recently swapped them over and they’re still perfect - very pleased with the result.
Wait times were a few weeks as they were so busy. Was a bit quicker if you could drop off wheels without valves / tyres.

LapTab, A38 south beside spaguetti junction used to be good, but that's probably 17 years ago since i used them, don't know if they are still there.
I had a set of Scooby wheels refurbed at a place in Northampton a few years ago, looked a fantastic job but the finish went crinkly within 2 years, that was without them seeing any salt.

I was genuinely over the moon with these guys https://www.perfectiongroup.net
I'm properly funny about wheels and I would absolutely use them for my proper car if I needed to.
You'd not be disappointed, I'm sure.
