Farming Simulator and steering wheels

Hi all
Little eltax is one for a variety of games on the Xbox. As much as he’s embracing his inner petrol head with forza horizon, he also got a penchant for the farming simulator series.
Having received both FS22 and a Logitech G920 from Santa, I watched him play earlier and noticed he’s really struggling with the fact the wheel doesn’t have the thumb sticks! This means he can’t operate front loaders for tractors or easily rotate the camera and has instantly gone back to the pad.
There’s a ‘heavy equipment bundle’ side panel option, but I can’t see proof it’s compatible with Xbox series x?
Anyone got this weird combination of a g920, plus some form of stick that helps with the camera/ loader options in FS?
