Given now is the time for sharing etc and people are coming around to others' houses, does the thought of other people doing a dump/piss in your toilet make you feel uncomfortable?

What about when cleaning it, do your picture their fat hairy bare arse on your seat where your hand now is?

Given alternative locations are places like the sink, your shoe or the living room carpet, no, I think it’s OK.

Very rarely use other people's toilets for fear of leaving a floater, I'd be mortified. frown

Just ask her to flush and scrub once finished.

Or you do an explosive st then realise they don't have a toilet brush.

Don't like sitting on the MIL's toilet - don't want my cock anywhere near her bits. Makes me gag thinking about it.

^^^ This. We have one toilet for guests. I have my own. So does she. Plus a spare one that doesn't get used but is there just in case. But anyway it's something for the cleaner to worry about (bless her).

Any visitors to my house that need the toilet have to use my downstairs loo, its small and unheated which is fun at this time of year, i use the upstairs loo which is a bit bigger but heated, which is much nicer at this time of the year.

Short answer: no.

But there are two qualifiers:

1. anyone who visits has good manners so leaves it clean.
2. we have cleaners who visit twice a week.

(But if you have such issues with people using your loo, how the hell do you cope using work lavatories?)

Not bothered, what's the alternative, be a swivel-eye loony and refuse your guests access to your toilet ?

I remember a guy i knew who was dating a well to do lass, from monied family...

he stayed over one night, went to the loo and laid a log, tried to flush it didnt go away. tried as he might he ended up pushing it with his foot and got his foot trapped...

ended up having to have some help to remove said foot.

he didnt see the girl for much longer after,

Some weird hang ups in the lounge.

My advice for the OP, don’t travel in India.

You lot are weird. I’ll dump anywhere given a ready supply of bog roll and reading material.

I thought most PH'ers would reserve the use of the main toilet for guests and crap in their en suite, since they love the bedroom being full of their turd-stink.

If I forget my phone, I'll read the labels on the soap dispenser and bog roll packaging. A considerate host will have a copy of Evo, Octane or Practical Classics next to the throne.

I'm an exceptional host - if it's a family gathering I turn the stopcock from half (silent fill) to max (rapid fill); I make sure there are plenty of bogrolls on display so no-one feels that they need to skimp on wiping if it's a vindaloo; I put new air fresheners in and leave a spray can on display and I turn the fan timer on for longer to fumigate between visitors. biggrin
