People who wear dressing gowns and slippers in public.

Several times now and I usually encounter this at the local petrol station, I find people dressed in their bathroom gowns, even wearing slippers FFS, anyone else find this behaviour, a tad slob-ish?

My wife often goes out in slippers, due to her disability, and some days they are the only thing that don't hurt her.

But she is otherwise dressed properly, and she still feels self conscious.

Guess some people just have no shame.

Sure you can buy outdoor shoes that have the comfiness of slippers, they are made from
stretchy material and have velcro fastenings.

It's this, i've seen people drive across from the other side of town to visit the convenience store downstairs on Christmas day, slippers, jim jams and dressing gown. One of them, well if you can call them jim jams, then i am getting out of touch with what is acceptable these days

Not the first time either, see this regularly, downside to living in a less than salubrious area i guess

A lady turned up one morning to the tyre place I use while I was waiting in a furry onesie dressing gown & no idea what was on her feet & was promptly told if she wanted service to go home & get dressed

I see quite a few on my early morning dog walks. Normally people going to the local shop for milk or bread. I did see a lady in her bra and pants looking for her cat recently though.

I have occasionally popped to my local shops with slippers on but it's usually because I'm in a hurry and only need one or two items. They're actually really comfortable to drive in, they give a good pedal feel
