Home Insurance and watches

Had no issues with home insurance before and had approx 50k of watches on cover for a very sensible price tbh. I'v just bought a gold Daytona and my insurance won't add it to my cover. None of the insurance on comparison websites will even quote. Anyone got any suggestions? It's either a complete insurance or I can renew with my existing and just get watch cover for the Daytona on its own. But seemingly that is dearer than my entire home insurance was last year.

I have a Confidas Home Max policy through a broker as I had similar issues. Based on what you have said something like that should do the trick.
