Vintage ladies Omega restoration advice.
Discussion
Hi all , I dont usually post out of the TVR forums but I'm after a little advice from any vintage watch experts here .
I have a 9ct gold Omega ladies watch from the 1950s and need to find a quality place to get it restored/repaired.
This watch was given to me by the lady who owned it before her death , she was a lifetime friend of our family , she was given it brand new in 1958 by her employers at the time after 25 years of service , it is engraved on the reverse and is in its original box with all paperwork, warranties etc . I have the original receipt and letter from her employers too .
I want it restored and refurbed as some of the expanding bracelet springs are missing and it hasn't been wound or worn in years .
It's in very good condition otherwise .
I'm looking for a specialist vintage Omega restorer really but would be happy to look at indy repairers on recommendation.
I am uninterested in selling or finding out a value , its staying with me and will go to my daughter when I go .
I am enthusiastic about watches , I have a couple of Breitlings and an Omega myself but have no experience of vintage stuff like this .
Any help gratefully recieved .

I used this chap recently to do some work on an omega. Highly recommended.
