Puzzled how to read the RSSI of a remote LE device. Is there a standard UUID for the RSSI value. Can't seem to find it discussed in any documents. Presumably it would be stored in the Device Information service along with the name, which again would you would think have a standard UUID

Possibly teaching grandmother to suck eggs but pretty much every bluetoothLE library I have come across has the capability to do this.

The library I am using does have a ReadRssi function which should raise a Rssi_Available event. I can call ReadRssi and sometimes get what appears to be spurious data back, mostly no event is raised. Was wondering if there was a way of manually accessing the data. Have been reading various documents but can't figure out any clear understanding of how to access it. The value is available once when connecting. It seems to be read along with the name and makers name.

You would think it has perhaps an RSSI specific handle, because it seems people generally use a library information about what is actually happening is quite thin. Much prefer assembler where you know exactly what is happening and exactly when.
