Re-write a well known verse / lyrics

This one will take a wee bit more effort than the 'Change two letters' or 'Change a word to....' type of thread so not expecting many joining in, but you never know.
Any subject you like as long as it follows the pattern of the original song, can be a single verse/ chorus / or full song .

Here is my starter based on the Sham 69 classic.... Hurry Up Harry, with lyrics changed to the way Sturgeon banned going down the pub at new year. Sing the song in your head as you read the lyrics.
