Looking to buy a f80 M4 or RS3, what's everyone's verdict?

Personally I don't think the RS3 will be that much different to your A35 in terms of power or handling, whereas the BMW is a clear step on from both so would be my pick out of the two.

M4 would be the one to buy IMO.

I'm biased because I have a F82 M4, so I'd go for that I think. However I've always loved the engine in the RS3, plus you will get the power down much easier in the RS3 in less than ideal conditions. You do have to drive the M4 quite defensively in wet and slippery conditions being fair.

If you’re used to driving flat out everywhere in the Amg leaning on the 4wd traction you might not like the M4…

I’ve had an M4 and just spent 2 weeks driving my bro in laws A45.

Whilst the M4 was quicker in the right conditions, most of the time a typical driver wouldn’t see which way an A45 has gone!

M4 however feels like a proper car, where the A class and A3’s are hatchbacks.
