Credit checks on individuals/Companies

What companies do people use for carrying out credit checks on Companies and individuals?

ideally I would like something that provides

1. Financial stability of the company
2. Financial history of the Directors (any history of insolvencies or CCJs)

My preference would be a one-off payment per check rather than an annual contract but happy to go with the latter if the price/service is good.

My employer uses creditsafe for company credit searches. Not sure if it goes as far as to check directors CCJs.

Thanks. Yes, I've been in touch with them - theyve quoted us a £300/year package, which is cheap but I'd prefer a PAYG model.

I use Credisafe. Their scoring algorithm is flawed, but the reporting is accurate.

Play them. Just dangle a carrot. They started quoting me stupid figures for a package (£1500 from memory) and I ended up getting it all for about £120. They just try it on. Beat them down. It is worth the money and we have used it for 5 or 6 years now.
