I've got Osmo for Kindle Fire. Got a few of the sets, including the Pizza Game and the Coding Pack.

It's well put together and it's good (when they are corralled in to using it), but with reading and English comprehension in general there's no real substitute for reading from my experience.

I'd recommend it as an additional tool, but he's not going to see it as some sort of Roblox game :-)

My 6yo also struggles a little with reading (covid didn't help) and we've found employing different strategies for shared reading very useful (like reading a word each, or a para/page), books with quizzes and just stuff they're interested in, and that you can show interest in (fastest cars, best footballers etc).

That aside, we also incentised reading as one of goals on their pocket money account, check out 'Go Henry' if you haven't done so, great little tool.

Good luck
