Am taking a bottle of T-Cut for Saturday morning (the bonnet certainly needs doing plus there's that unsightly grey primer patch), or incase we drink the bar dry.

I have not been finding out that kitchen wipes make a good muck shifter under the bonnet

ok, I was wondering if they shift grease so well in the kitchen then they must shift other forms of oil.........

I've already done the main polishing. Just got to finish doing the wheels and that's it. So will probably be running round now like a headless chicken, as I'm heading up to Ettington this afternoon

I do think I'll be going now.
But, I'll feel a bit wierd about cleaning the car when I get there. I mean, I wouldn't want it sat there amongst all those shiney and bright motors with motorway grime, rain marks and flies on it.
Will everyone take the piss if I start washing it?

I'll take that as a yes then.

Mine doesn't need polishing - just cracked 8000 miles...

Mind you there is a lot of straw in the air scoop mesh!

Tha't what comes from living in East Anglia. Ian, I'm leaving the Cambridge area hopefully about 11:30 Sat if you want to make a small A14 convoy....

Hi Adam,

Hopefully will be nearly there by 11.30. I'm meeting up with Mike 'urf' who lives locally to me at about 9am and then heading off. Hoping to get there soon after 11.30am. See you there later.
