Latest map DVD I can use with CCC iDrive?

2006 E63 630i with CCC iDrive and Pro Nav option.

Current map DVD of course out of date. What's the most recent map DVD I can use with this system? Are any of those <cough>non genuine<cough> you see on eBay worth a look?

My car come with a 2017 disc…doesn’t work though. No idea if there are later ones than that for the CCC nav.

I think the CCC needs sending off because it keeps saying disc cannot be read.

Alternatively could be time to add CarPlay so you can use Waze etc.

I had that issue, the disc drive can die in these and be replaced. Mine was done under warranty (think they just replaced the whole iDrive unit), but you can get disc drives seperatly.

Using cheap copied discs is what kills them I hear, but how true that is I have no idea. I just filled a dvd with music and use it for that.

Yeah, there seem to be quite a few offering repairs services for them but as I’ve added CarPlay, I’m not sure that I’ll bother because I can’t see me using the ancient nav system anyway.
