Afternoon Lads

I’ve got a 330d 2002 with 200k on the clock

As the title really, misses took the car out today and got stuck at a set of lights.

Just took it for a spin and it is very clunky going through the gears but not always, did a spirited drive and the car did do some random revving and acceleration when booting it

Goes through the gears smoothly when the car is turned off

I assume it’s a clutch issue, do you guys think master cylinder? Checked the brake fluid res and it’s full but I do find when I’ve topped this up in the past (a long time ago I must admit) I can fill it up and it doesnt rise?

Any ideas?

That's your clutch slipping. It doesn't matter which component is worn because it is good practice to renew everything while you're at it.

It was only a matter of time!
I think it time to get rid to be honest, it’s served me well, maybe a good car for someone with the skills, I could change everything if I had to. I’ve rebuilt it twice after 2 write off lol
