My 2001 TD5 D90 has started to develop some pretty bad vibration at around 40mph and above. I have a look underneath and the UJs look good with no play. Anything else that could be causing this?

Yeah, loads...
  • Condition of wheels/tyres.
  • Bushes
  • Bearings... And don't forget the bearings top & bottom of the swivel housings.
  • Steering damper.
Probably also worth confirming the vibration is coming from the drive train, rather than something engine related.

Good luck!

Did you find the cause of the vibration?
