Quick list of questions (so hopefully some quick answers ) 2003 53 Car.

1. Satnav - does it use a cd/dvd. If so can you get updated ones, can they copied (for use as backup of course)

2. Final things to look out for when buying? Recalls/Campaigns, checks on servicing etc.

3. Phone preperations - what do you reccomend - just by a sim card (do you only get little ones now or do they come credit card sized still??) ?

4. Anyone got one with an origin b2 installed - if so photos would be great.

5. Cambiflappycorsa gearbox - anything to watch out - anyway to check clutch wear prior to purchasing?

6. Hood - treatments needed or are they good and hardwearing

7. Those slits behind the handbrake/under armrest-wassat all about then?

8. Speaker upgrades - anyone done it, is it necessary?

9. Virginia Water meet in mid-september> (invite extended to Morgan owners of course)

10. Anything else?

Dave

1. Satnav uses a CD.

2. Check on what warranty work carried out - ensure you have warranty and servicing carried out on time.

3. Phone is only possible if installed in factory. You need to ensure that phone is installed it looks the same regardless

5. Cambiocorsa gearbox - check on updates and ensure clutch wear is ok - £2000 to replace

6. Hood - make sure car has a glass rear screen.

7. Those slits behind the handbrake/under armrest-wassat all about then? Styling

8. Speaker upgrades - anyone done it, is it necessary? Standard speakers pretty good IMHO

10 Enjoy.

Hello!

Enjoying the owning experience immensely, already put 250 miles on the clock since Friday - plenty of grins per gallon!

A couple of frowns last night though as I managed to scuff the right wing mirror a little upon entry into my microscopic garage. Grrr.

Lots of attention already from Joe Public, people really do notice the Maserati.
I got flashed by a Ferrari driver yesterday - is this standard fare or just a case of appreciation of an Italian (super)cousin?

If I'm in the UK then I will definitely attend - a good opportunity to see your new 4200, David.
